11. Stonecrop

Among the plants that bloom in the fall, stonecrop stands still. Easy to take care of, this plant isn’t pretentious about the soil, it just needs to be well-drained. Stonecrop is a horizontal, creeping herbaceous perennial ground cover. It expands from 8 to 12 inches broad and 2 to 4 inches tall. After flowering, the plant can be clipped to keep its form. Stonecrop can be used in pollinator, coastal, cottage, and rock gardens and spreads via subterranean stolons.

12. Fountain Grass

Above, we mentioned only flowers that bloom in the fall, and the list is quite large, so you will definitely find something to add to your garden. While fountain grass isn’t exactly a flower, it will make a perfect addition to your soothing garden and a nice accent for the rest of the flowers.

Make sure you grow these plants in a place where they may get both sunlight and some shade because they love to be in the sun all day.
Although they favor warm weather due to their African ancestry, you may leave them in the garden until late fall after they are grown, but not if it begins to snow.

Tip: As long as you water it often enough, this particular plant won’t need any fertilizer!
