As a matter of fact, they can add a lot of depth to any small room, and with the right touch-ups, they help bounce the light around. In fact, dark paint colors might add coziness and a bit of drama to any small space, which will make it more exciting.
If one of your smaller rooms somehow lacks the needed depth and interest, adding darker colors might do the trick. As long as you balance the dark with the light, then it’s definitely a go. You can use an eggshell or even a satin finish, as it will constitute a solid backdrop to the space and will be a little reflective, which is very nice.
