When you think about the sea and the ocean, what is one of the first things that comes to mind? If you ask us, we are going to say the sun and the light. Really, when you are going on a seaside vacation, one of the things that is a big part of the experience is the light.
When we thought about these coastal home decor tips, the sun was always popping up, and because of this, here we are now.
But how can you bring the marvelous light of the sun into your home? The easiest and probably the most popular way is to let the light in. And how can you do that, you might ask? Well, there is not much that you can do besides get some large windows.
Really, just imagine entering a big room that has some large windows that let in a lot of sunlight. Isn’t that giving you a coastal vibe? More than that, adding some light, transparent curtains, as we already mentioned, will let in even more light.
Using light colors like pastel yellows, bright whites, light blues, and greens is an amazing choice because these hues accent the luminosity of a room.
