If you own pets, then you probably have to deal with pet hair all over the place. Well, next time you’re expecting guests, you might want to do more than just vacuum the floors and focus on the couches, too. In fact, we’d recommend you try an efficient vacuum that’s specifically designed for pet hair, or at least do a fast sweep with a pet hair roller.
Besides, if I were you, I would consider washing any bedding and blankets that your house guests are about to use. Also, add a tablespoon of baking soda and some oxygen bleach to your load so you can remove pet odors.
If you have a cat, make sure you empty the litter box before your guests arrive, and also consider placing it somewhere else (but make sure your pet has access to it). If there’s a persistent pet smell in your home, you might want to light a couple of candles before your guests arrive.
