First impressions matter, and your guests will notice how your house looks the minute they step through your front door. In most cases, the first thing they will notice is the floor, so if there’s dust or dirt on it, you can bet they’ll see it.

This doesn’t mean that you should scrub the floors with a toothbrush every other week, but the occasional vacuum and broom might scare away any kind of dirt and debris.
