1. Always make a list of what you plan on purchasing
This is one rule I learned from my grandmother, who was always keen on finding the best bargains at the stores. Always, always have a written (or digital) list with you! While you may not be able to find everything you planned for, it’s still nice to have it. Go to the store with an open mind and always ready to find replacements for what you initially thought of.
