Acerola (Malpighia glabra)

You may know acerolas as Barbados cherries. They are a type of cherry that is native to South America, Central America and Southern Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti, but they have since spread around the world and have also started to be cultivated in Texas.
