Guitar Shelf

Materials:

Old guitar

Scissors

Pencil or marker

Ruler

Jigsaw or handsaw

Sandpaper and block or electric sander

Pine

White and black paint

Screwdriver, drill bit and screw

Clear varnish

Steps:

  1. Cut the guitar strings.
  2. Mark a border along the face of the guitar and cut out with the jigsaw.
  3. Sand the edges.
  4. Mark and cut your pine to size.
  5. Sand any shiny surfaces, paint your shelves and fretboard with black and the face with white.
  6. Slide your shelves in and attach with screws on the back.
  7. Coat the inside with a clear varnish.
