Make a crip combo with white and green.
A crisp white background will “invite design drama to take place elsewhere”. It can be either tiles, cabinetry, artwork, or even houseplants. If you decide on a clean white backdrop, you will automatically emphasize your kitchen gadgets, books, and cabinets.
They will be subtly placed in the spotlight. Unless you are super minimalist, they generally have to accommodate a decent level of stuff, too.
While we don’t advocate for bland kitchens, if you still want to use color, you might want to choose a muted tone for the walls and try to focus on bringing in color in different ways.
It could be either on cabinetry, through a brightly colored range cooker, or even light fittings. This will somehow give you the best of both worlds.
