Lavender has amazing properties, and since it is a perennial, you can enjoy this plant for years on end if you are careful about taking care of it.
What’s more, there are a lot of usages for this plant that you can find, which means that you do not have to only plant it because it is a deer deterrent but also because you can use it in DIYs, traditional medicines, and many other ways, including just making dried flower bouquets and using the flowers to deter other pests such as insects and especially mosquitoes.
Since this purple flower has a very potent fragrance, deer will definitely steer clear of it and will not want to come around it!
It is a good idea to use natural ways to keep deer away, but you must make sure you do not accidentally plant anything that could be poisonous to your dog if you do!
